Covid-19 Pandemic Update
A fellow artist friend said that guessing when we'll all be back at our jobs is like "throwing darts at jello." I miss seeing you all, and connecting with people through music in a live setting. At this point, all of my 2020 shows have been cancelled. So many of your art-making friends are struggling without work, and if you feel moved to make a contribution to them, I encourage you to do that! Spreading love and support feels good. If you would like to send me a tip, I'm on Venmo at @chenot and I appreciate it!
After traveling the world with New England R&B and swing legends Eight to the Bar, the singer-guitarist began a solo career, taking her last name as her stage name, and playing both covers and originals from the East Coast to the West Coast, with stops in Mexico and the Caribbean. Her most recent work as a solo performer includes gear demos for BOSS and Roland at NAMM 2020, Sennheiser and BOSS at NAMM 2018, and VIP Lounge performances for Live Nation before concerts by Richard Marx, Rick Springfield, and John Mayer.
Using a looping pedal on her vocals (unlike most solo players, who loop the guitar), Chenot creates intricate harmonies live. Her set is chock full of "all spice, no filler" - (Hartford Advocate), as her extraordinarily versatile voice moves seamlessly from classic rock to jazz to Motown to pop.
From cocktail hours to happy hours, Chenot has played regularly at a diverse range of venues, from bars and restaurants to country clubs, vineyards, luxury resorts (including three Club Med properties outside the USA), weddings, and private and corporate events.
